Originally founded in 2001, EPICORP was created to help establish a strong technology commercialisation process and source of seed capital for the Australian Capital Territory and surrounding region.

Set up as a not-for-profit business by the region’s universities, national research institutions and local government, EPICORP successfully fostered the commercialisation of intellectual property from within the Australian National University, CSIRO, University of Canberra, NICTA and the Australian Capital Region’s industries for over a decade.

Today, Epicorp works closely with CBRIN, The ACT Government, CIT and innovation and business support networks to provide Australian companies with short term growth capital with Early Stage Business Support Loans.
